1. These terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of MyPostiz (“the Application”), the social media scheduling application operated by Banto Inc. (株式会社万燈), Central Park Tower La Tour Shinjuku 5F, 6-15-1 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo 160-0023, Japan (“we”, “us”), and of this documentation website. By signing in to the Application, or by connecting a social media account to it, you (“the User”) agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

2. Definitions

• Application — the MyPostiz software and the dashboard at postiz.banto-works.com, together with its background publishing service.
• Platform — a third-party social media service the Application connects to, such as TikTok, Instagram, X or Bluesky.
• Connected Account — a Platform account that a User has linked to the Application through that Platform's authorisation screen.
• Content — the text, images, video and settings a User creates in the Application and schedules for publication.

3. Who may use the Application

1. The Application is an internal tool. It may be used only by Banto Inc. and the staff and contractors we authorise. It is not offered, sold, licensed or distributed to the public, and there is no self-service registration.
2. A User must be at least 18 years old and must have the authority to act for the accounts they connect.
3. We may grant, refuse, suspend or withdraw access at our discretion.

4. Accounts and credentials

1. A User is responsible for keeping their dashboard credentials confidential and for all activity carried out under their account.
2. Connections to Platforms are made through each Platform's own authorisation screen. The Application does not ask for, receive or store Platform passwords.
3. A User must notify us immediately at takechi@jusetz.jp if they suspect unauthorised access to the Application or to a Connected Account.

5. Permitted use

The Application may be used only to compose, schedule and publish Content to Connected Accounts that the User or Banto Inc. owns and is entitled to operate, and to review the results of that publishing.

6. Prohibited use

A User must not:

1. connect, or attempt to publish to, an account they do not own or are not authorised to operate;
2. publish Content that violates the terms of service, community guidelines, advertising policies or branded content policies of the Platform it is published to;
3. publish Content that infringes the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights of any person;
4. publish false or misleading information, spam, repetitive or bulk unsolicited Content, or Content intended to artificially inflate engagement;
5. publish Content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that promotes violence, self-harm or illegal activity;
6. impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent an affiliation;
7. use the Application to collect, store, scrape or redistribute data about other users of a Platform;
8. attempt to circumvent a Platform's rate limits, access controls or review processes, or use the Application in any way that a Platform has told us is not permitted;
9. interfere with the operation or security of the Application, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or reverse engineer, copy or redistribute it;
10. use the Application in breach of any applicable law, including Japanese law and the laws of the User's own jurisdiction.

Breach of this section may result in immediate withdrawal of access, deletion of the Content concerned, and — where required — notification to the Platform or to the authorities.

7. Platforms and their rules

1. The Application publishes through the official APIs of the Platforms. A User's use of a Platform is additionally governed by that Platform's own terms; in the case of TikTok this includes the TikTok Terms of Service, the Community Guidelines and the Branded Content Policy.
2. Where Content is commercial or promotional, the User must make the declaration the Platform requires and must comply with the disclosure rules that apply.
3. Platforms may change, restrict or withdraw their APIs, may reject or remove a post, and may suspend an account. We do not control these decisions and are not responsible for them.
4. No Platform is a party to these Terms, is responsible for the Application, or endorses it.

8. Content and responsibility

1. The User retains all rights in the Content they create. We claim no ownership of it.
2. The User is solely responsible for the Content they publish through the Application, including its accuracy, its legality and its compliance with Platform rules.
3. The Application does not create Content on its own and never publishes anything that a User has not written and scheduled. The User grants us the limited right to store and transmit their Content only to the extent needed to publish it as instructed.

9. Availability and changes

1. The Application is provided on an “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and we may take it offline for maintenance.
2. A scheduled post may fail to publish for reasons outside our control, including Platform outages, expired or revoked tokens, rate limits and Platform policy decisions. The Application reports such failures; it does not guarantee that any post will be published.
3. We may update these Terms. The version number and effective date at the top of this page identify the current version. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of it.

10. Intellectual property

The Application, this website, the MyPostiz name and the MyPostiz icon belong to us, except for components we use under open-source or third-party licences, which remain the property of their respective owners and are used in accordance with those licences. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of these rights to the User. Platform names and logos are the trademarks of their respective owners.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the Application is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any scheduled post will be published at the intended time.

12. Limitation of liability

1. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost business or lost data, arising from use of the Application.
2. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under the law of Japan.

13. Term and termination

1. A User may stop using the Application at any time, and may disconnect any Connected Account from the dashboard or revoke the Application's access from the Platform's own settings.
2. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if these Terms are breached, if a Platform requires it, or if the law requires it.
3. On termination, access tokens are deleted and remaining data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections 8, 10, 11, 12 and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Application or these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
